1. Nature of the Service
Sooper Buddy is a technology platform that connects passengers with independent driver-partners. The transportation contract is directly between you and the driver-partner. Sooper Buddy is not a transportation company and the drivers are not our employees.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A ride booking is confirmed when a driver-partner accepts your request. Prior to acceptance, Sooper Buddy does not guarantee driver availability.
3. Fare Calculation
Fares are calculated based on base fare, distance, estimated time, and applicable surcharges including:
- Peak-hour surge pricing
- Night-time surcharge
- Toll charges (passed through at actual cost)
- Waiting charges after a set grace period
The estimated fare displayed at booking is indicative. The final fare may differ based on actual route and duration.
4. Cancellations
- Cancellations before driver assignment: free of charge
- Cancellations after driver assignment: a cancellation fee may apply
- Driver-initiated cancellations: no charge to the passenger
5. Safety Guidelines
- Always verify the driver name, photo, and vehicle number plate before boarding
- Share your trip details with a trusted contact using the in-app share feature
- Use the in-app SOS button to alert emergency services in case of danger
- Do not share your personal contact details with drivers
6. Lost Items
Sooper Buddy is not responsible for items lost in a vehicle. We will assist in connecting you with the driver-partner to recover lost items, but cannot guarantee their return.
